Buckshot Says Rock The Bells Billing Is Misleading

In a exclusive interview with Buckshot [click to read] on QtheQuestion.com, the Boot Camp Clik founder clears the air in a intrview in a response to his audio interview on Game Tag Radio.

When asked on what was going on with his opinion on the Rock The Bells tour, Buckshot spoke on the event which he explained it was two separate concerts.

The thing is people come to the show thinking they are going to pay and see all the rappers that are advertised. That is not the case, because Rock The Bells and Paid Dues are two separate stages. You drive up with your car to the parking lot to your right is the big Rock the Bells stage and to the left is the small Paid Dues stage. If my name is advertised along with Nas, people think they are going to see us on the same stage. That is not the case, so you may go see Slaughterhouse [click to read] at Rock The Bells, but then you miss Buckshot or whoever because he’s on the Paid Dues stage.

    Buckshot
, who’s been recording over 17 years with initial group Black Moon, expressed further discomfort with the show billing.

Not only are they different but, the flyers printed up are fucked up too,” he said. “Only one side of the flyer is printed and all it advertises is Rock The Bells stage. Now this isn’t Buckshot vs. Rock The Bells so, this shit is a little misleading. Not only that, but Live Nation and the people running this shit give it a jail-like atmosphere. Like backstage, they make you feel like you’re going to visit someone in prison.”

Getting more to the concert, he spoke on the mistreatment as well with the confusion of the show.

On top of that, different artists and people get different color passes and they are so strict about it. Like I had a green pass and the security guard is like, ‘That’s no good you need the orange pass just to get back here.’ I am like, ‘I am an artist, I am paid to be here, what am I going to do go backstage and steal something?’ I got a reason to be here so let me be and if the color pass today is orange why so many people back here who aren’t artist got on purple pass?

When confronted on if he will participate in anymore Rock The Bells, Buckshot responded. “Hell yeah, why not? Now I have more knowledge and I can put people on. At first, we were confused about the two stages and the flyers now we know. The people in the background need to be on point and we can inform the fans. The vibe will be if you’re an artist on Rock The Bells, then you tell people. If you are an artist for Paid Dues, then you tell people that. Its not going to be like, ‘Yo you have an orange band and you can’t be on level four, because you’re not on this level that doesn’t work.’ You will get a lot of confusion and problems instead of having it how it was.
