Boosie Badazz channeled the feelings of many and couldn’t believe Rihanna announced her second pregnancy during her Super Bowl LVII halftime show performance.
The Baton Rouge, Louisiana native captured his gobsmacked reaction to RiRi’s pregnancy news in a video posted to his Instagram Stories during the big game on Sunday night (February 12). Like many who took to social media following the reveal, Boosie couldn’t believe what he saw.

According to the clip, the “Wipe Me Down” rapper had to get a closer look after noticing that Rihanna was sporting what appeared to be a growing baby bump behind her all-red outfit. Once he and his friends verified their suspicions, Boosie praised A$AP Rocky in his caption.
“Man, I know Rihanna ain’t pregnant, bruh!” he remarked, before one of his friends told him to “look at that stomach.” “Oh yeah, oh yeah, awww yeah!”
“Again SMH ASAP AINT PLAYING,” Boosie added in his caption.

The halftime show marked Rihanna’s first appearance at the Super Bowl and her first major performance since the 2016 MTV Video Music Awards, where she delivered a career-spanning medley of hits to coincide with her winning the Michael Jackson Video Vanguard Award.
If there was any way for RiRi to come back with a bang, this was it, as she shocked the world when she announced baby number two was on the way during her highly-anticipated return to the stage. She didn’t explicitly state during the show that she was pregnant besides slightly rubbing her belly a few times.
Fans began to question if she was pregnant after seeing a bump on her belly throughout her performance that she semi-covered with a red puffer long coat. Those questions were fueled by remarks Rihanna made days before during an interview with CBS News that she was “thinking about bringing someone” as a special guest.
Within minutes of the end of the Apple Music halftime show, Rihanna’s representative confirmed in a statement to The Hollywood Reporter that she is indeed expecting her second child.

Rihanna and her boyfriend, A$AP Rocky, are already parents to a nine-month-old son, whose name they have yet to share with the public. The couple shared the first snaps of their baby in December to avoid having paparazzi leak unauthorized photos of the family taken during a planned photo shoot.
