Boosie Badazz says that he and everyone else struggled under what he thought was Joe Biden’s tax plan for the last four years, and he’s looking forward to better tax breaks during Donald Trump’s next term.
Boosie shared his thoughts during an Instagram Live on Wednesday (December 11) – though he doesn’t appear to know that the United States has been under a tax code put in place by Trump since 2017 that actually doesn’t expire until 2025.
“I’ll make a lot more money with Trump in office. I’ma go crazy this year,” Boosie said. “It seemed like when Biden was in office, people didn’t have money to support themselves. So I’ma try with this. I ain’t take no losses but people just ain’t have it. I mean, I don’t know who it was. It might not have been Biden but I just know during that term, taxes was killing me.
“Every $1 million, you pay $350,000. If you spend $100,000, half of your money gone. It’s not fair, man. Who does the money go to? I mean, middle class still on their ass. Every million dollars, 400k? How you gon’ make money? How you gon’ not be in debt? Whole world in debt.”
Better taxes isn’t the only thing Boosie Badazz is looking for from Trump’s next term.

Boosie Badazz’s gun case stems from June 2023 when he was arrested in San Diego while exiting a courtroom after just having a separate gun case dismissed by the court.
It was later revealed that he was being held on multiple gun charges, including “felony possession of a firearm and transporting firearms across highways.” According to federal court documents, the “Wipe Me Down” rapper earned himself an indictment thanks to some ill-advised Instagram Live posts.
He faces the potential of up to 10 years in prison if convicted.
