Boosie Badazz Explains Why He Refuses To Watch ‘Bel-Air’

Boosie Badazz has maintained that he’s anything but opinionated when it comes to social issues, this time taking aim at “Bel-Air,” the re-imagination of the beloved sitcom “The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air,” explaining why he refuses to watch.

On Thursday (February 23) the controversial rapper took to Twitter where he aired his disgust for the Peacock original, starring Coco Jones, Olly Sholotan, Jabari Banks, and Adrian Holmes, to name a few.

“IM NOT WATCHING THE NEW FRESH PRINCE OF BEL AIR [angry face emoji]. I JUST HEARD CARLTON SNORTIN COCAINE N WILL SLANGIN IRON [exclamation emoji] is this true?,” he wrote, referring to characters Carlton Banks [played by Sholotan] and Will [played by Banks].

Meanwhile, fans of the show — which recently released its second season — quickly rushed to its defense stating that the reboot is more representative of current times. “I feel like this show is dealing with some truthfully realities. I haven’t seen Will sell drugs. He was hustling basketball games.. now Karlton hanging with white boys so yeah he doing coke!,” suggested one user. “Nah, Carlton snorting Xanax.. it’s really good just watch it,” added another follower informing that it was not cocaine but prescription drugs that Carlton was snorting.

While others seemed to spiral over claims that Will was “slangin iron,” as well as how much the new drama has evolved. “Yeah them West Philadelphia streetz be talkin! They say when he wasn’t playin ball he was most definitely outside slangin that iron..” alleged one fan. “And Ashley Gay, The Mama Almost Cheated, And The Butler Is A Assassin [laughing emoji],” another user pointed out.

Boosie’s declaration against consuming content that doesn’t meet his ideal viewing requirements comes on the heels of his remarks regarding his daughter’s sexuality. Earlier this week, the Baton Rouge native joined DJ Vlad for an explosive interview, where he reflected on the moment he learned about his oldest daughter’s sexual preferences even though he has vehemently bashed homosexuality in the past.

“Even though it won’t be accepted as far as — because I don’t want nobody in my other family to think it’s okay,” he explained. “But what she does, we’re gonna love her to death. But at the same time, our Southern family has never been that way.

“It’s never been accepted. But at the same time, she’s grown and she can do what the hell she wants. She’s old enough to know what she wants and that’s her.”

Boosie continued: “I learned of it through social media. Like you, I woke up to it… She never came to me and talked to me about relationships.”

Boosie Badazz has repeatedly spoken out condemning homosexuality to the point he’s even predicted an all-gay world in the future.

He’s also directed hateful words at Lil Nas X, as well as Dwyane Wade’s transgender daughter, Zaya.

    1. What idiot would even suggest snorting xanax. Absorption rate would be ridiculously low it would just go to waste. You don’t get high like that. Why even talk about shit you know fuck all about?

      1. I’ve personally been in the presence of a Kentucky white boy who would use pill crushers to snort the pills instead of just popping them. So yeah looks like you’re the type that never stepped off the front porch

      2. Well the only amount that gets absorbed is the drip from the back of your nose down to your stomach. Oral bioavailability is like 100% though. But hey if you want to waste your pills like that, go ahead nerd boy.

    2. Can anyone name one song of this guys? He’s famous for fantasizing about gay and trans penis and making an ass out of himself in public and online. Ja Rile is more famous and relevant, and he is lower than a Kardashian cousin that was never on that bullshit show.

    3. Iron Mike needs to put this fool in his place again. Not a day goes by where’s he’s not spewing some inbred levels of logic trash.

    4. As a lover of the original, I’m with Boosie. Maybe not for the same reasons but I don’t care much for the reboot. Its not funny & way too dramatic. The og found a way to be dramatic yet still hilarious.
