Boosie Badazz is looking for some public support from his basketball family and Atlanta Hawks star Trae Young stood up for the Baton Rouge native who is facing backlash from the NBA.
Boosie attended an Atlanta Hawks versus Chicago Bulls game last week and claimed that the State Farm Arena employees attempted to silence him. While sitting courtside, Boosie said they told him he couldn’t communicate with any players or he’d be kicked out.

The “Wipe Me Down” rapper followed up in a video posted to social media: “Ay, I need something, man. I need Trae Young, Collins, Murray, the Atlanta Hawks to go talk to the NBA security or whatever because they say if I talk to the players or coaches they’re gonna put me out.
“I’m motivation to the players. Even the players on the other team we joking man, them my partners. Like I pay good money to sit where I sit, that ain’t right, bruh. I can’t just sit down the whole game and not say nothing. I’m ADHD. I need the Hawks to tell them I’m good people, man.”

Trae Young got wind of Boosie’s plea for help and the Hawks superstar backed the rapper and explained that there are many worse-behaved fans so he doesn’t understand why Boosie is being specifically targeted.
“Nahhh man we not gonna do this to Boosie now,” the point guard responded. “Bro be chillin most games with family Heard 11x worse things being said to players & coaches then how he be talkin. Lol Thanks for the support! @BOOSIEOFFICIAL”
Boosie didn’t let the employee’s alleged threats ruin his entire arena experience on December 21 as he was treated to a thrilling Hawks/Bulls matchup which featured Chicago beating Atlanta on a buzzer-beater 110-108.
Christmas came early for Boosie as Bulls superstar DeMar DeRozan linked up with him shortly after the buzzer sounded and gifted the 40-year-old his sweaty game-worn red jersey right off his back.
The Hawks possibly tried to make things right with Boosie as Hawks legend Dominique Wilkins blessed him with an autographed jersey as well.
