Blueface has essentially had his probation in a Las Vegas shooting case reset; however the rapper remains behind bars in connection to a different probation violation case.
According to Vegas NBC affiliate 8 News Now, Clark County District Court Judge Kathleen Delaney — who, back in February, issued a bench warrant for his arrest for violating his probation in this same case — has now suspended the two-to-five year sentence the rapper was facing.

Instead, he has been granted up to three years of probation, thus avoiding anymore jail time, so long as he complies with the terms of his probation.
“This was a first technical violation with only temporary revocation available for a maximum of 30 days,” read an amended judgment of conviction issued last week.

Since he is currently in jail in California, Judge Delaney has elected to count the time he has already served towards that 30 day sentence. Blueface is set to appear in court on July 29 for a decision regarding a separate probation violation case.
Judge Delaney’s latest decision is a far cry from the stern tone she took with Blue (real name Johnathan Porter), when she handed down a suspended two-to-five year sentence for the rapper’s role in an October 2023 shooting on the Las Vegas strip.

Per 8 News Now, to comply with his probation, Blueface had to refrain from the use of alcohol or drugs including marijuana; and stay off the Vegas Strip and the city’s downtown corridors, unless he was able to prove he was there for work or other legitimate basis.
In addition, he was required to attend impulse control counseling; have no contact with the victim of the shooting; maintain full-time employment; comply with a curfew; report to parole and probation; and grant the Division of Parole and Probation access to all of his communication devices and social media apps.

“If you get caught doing that, you get brought back here on any kind of probation violation especially anything involving weapon, I will not hesitate to put you in prison for significant period of time,” Judge Delaney said at the original sentencing. “You are playing with your liberty, your life obviously. But you’re playing with your liberty if you’re going to have guns and do anything that’s going to violate your probation in that regard.”
The violation is said to relate to a video that circulated online after a performance in Salt Lake City last year.

During the show, the “Thotiana” rapper brought a woman up on stage only to shove her and order his entourage to “get her.”
The Las Vegas incident, meanwhile, saw a shootout erupt outside Euphoria Gentlemen’s Club, with one man being injured and the nightclub later forced to close.
Blueface was subsequently ordered to pay $13 million to the owner of the club for damages, lost wages and lease charges.
While he initially avoided a jail sentence, he was sentenced to three years’ probation that prevented him from being in possession of drugs, alcohol and weapons. He is also not allowed to be in Las Vegas unless it is for work.

The 27-year-old is currently in jail in Los Angeles for a separate probation violation in relation to an assault charge of a bouncer in 2021. He is expected to remain behind bars until July.
It was not made clear how Blueface violated the terms of his probation, but the rapper’s mother suggested that it was something to do with his “baby mama drama.”
