Among them was a short clip containing a snippet of a new song and video produced by and co-starring the legendary producer.
While the video cuts off before Sean’s verse begins, fans can hear him introducing the saxophone-laced track by saying: “I had to shake the little shit off, you know?… You shouldn’t wait for the world to come to you; you gotta go get this shit, baby… Sun shining, breeze and shit… Take it all in ’cause one day it could all…”

The slideshow also includes a behind-the-scenes photo of Big Sean and Eminem from their “Tobey” video shoot, a fan’s tattoo of the former G.O.O.D. Music MC and copies of his upcoming self-help book Go Higher: Five Practices for Purpose, Success and Inner Peace.
Hinting at another major release on the way, Sean captioned the post: “Guess i gotta go again n show them it aint luck…”
Big Sean and The Alchemist worked together for the first time on “Palisades, CA,” from the producer’s 2023 album with Larry June, The Great Escape.
The pair were also spotted in the studio together working on a new track in a vlog Sean released on YouTube earlier this year.

The introspective video, soundtracked by Sean’s musings on “clarity,” featured cameos from other heavy-hitters like Tyler, The Creator, Timbaland, Hit-Boy, Lil Yachty, Charlie Wilson, KAYTRANADA and The Internet’s Syd, hinting at other possible features on his next album.
Details about the rapper’s new album are scant, but he did reveal that it was “coming soon” during his Tiny Desk Concert for NPR in March.

During that performance, he also premiered an unreleased song called “Get Up,” which samples Jodeci‘s “Get On Up” and is dedicated to his son Noah who turned one last November.
Sean also recently released the single “Precision,” which samples the Three 6 Mafia classic “Poppin’ My Collar.”
Late last month, Proof‘s son NASAAN spoke about his involvement in Big Sean’s forthcoming album, revealing their friendship has grown to the point of him crashing at the rap star’s house.
Chatting with AllHipHop at the 2024 BET Awards, the Atlanta-based rapper spoke about helping Sean Don put together his next project.

“It’s crazy because Sean is somebody, bro, I grew up just idolizing, you know what I’m saying? I copied his flows, I mirrored his style so much to now we’re friends,” he said. “I’ve been sleeping at this house since I’ve been out here [in L.A.] just like [he’s] my dog.
“So it’s just crazy. Those full-circle moments and almost manifesting it. The universe got a weird way of working. It’s just crazy. Like, dang. The person I was a fan of is now a fan of me.”

NASAAN also shed light on Sean’s new album and his role in its creation, saying: “I play big part in helping just curate and just giving ideas and stuff. Literally, after I leave here I’m probably going to go back to his house and we working on his album.
“Between us, I’m on it. But yeah, that should be coming out late summer. I’m excited. He’s somebody who, like I said, he sees the superstar in me. He kind of just wants to nurture that.”
