Big Boi To Appear Alongside Andre 3000 On New Version Of Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter” & T.I.’s “Sorry”

Big Boi is set to reunite with Andre 3000 on an updated version of Frank Ocean’s “Pink Matter.”

Earlier this summer, Sir Lucious Leftfoot took to Twitter to state that he was originally slated to appear on the song but that “Dre didn’t want an Outkast Record Coming out on anybody else.”

But this past weekend, he posted lyrics on Tumblr of the updated version of the song that sees him joining forces with Three Stacks. Consequence of Sound confirmed that Big Boi will in fact appear on the song.

The new version of “Pink Matter,” which was originally included on the Odd Future crooner’s Channel Orange, is slated for release next week.

Check out a preview of Big Boi’s verse in the picture below.

UPDATE: Big Boi took to Twitter to reveal that he will also lay a verse on a new version to T.I.’s “Sorry,” where Andre 3000 apologizes to him for past mistakes.

    1. Since everybody is on Andre’s dick so much about how tight his verse on “Sorry” is (it is tight)……

Somebody needs to get the courage to tell him to stop using that stupid ass singing voice. It sounds ridiculous like a muppet should be sounding on a cartoon or something. He damn near ruined the song with that bullshit. It would have been even tighter without that.

      1. well when you find that somebody – cause 3stacks been doing that shit for years – so when you find that somebody, lemme know

    2. OutKast need a new album, sonically somewhere between The Love Below and Vicious Lies and Dangerous Rumors… Get in Sleepy Brown, T.I., Raekwon, Nas, Frank Ocean, J.Cole, Cee-Lo, Phantogram…

      1. add the gorillaz, cudi and little dragon. I think the way Big Boi did his album was perfect! It was different but didn’t go too far away from the Outkast sound.

    3. Big Boi cried enough I guess?? Now 3stacks will let him be on a record he is on…I feel sorry for Big Boi…obvious 3stacks wasnt looking for you when the track was 1st put out….damn man!
