BIA has sparked speculation of potential beef with a cryptic social media post.

The Sisterhood of Hip Hop alumna took to X (formerly Twitter) on Wednesday (February 28) to solidify her place in the rap game.

One user wrote: “Oh that’s not…….. I’m guessing you didn’t get that feature. Remind you cardi said not one word bout you but here u go liking shade bout her [nerd emoji, grimace emoji].”

Another added: “Please shade people in ur LANE.” A third said: “bia doesn’t know how to get on a chart though.”

The tweet could be in response to a Cardi B snippet that emerged earlier this week.

The Bronx rap star unveiled the cover art for her next track “Like What Freestyle” ahead of its release on Friday (March 1).

The teaser suggested she’ll be addressing her female rap rivals who’ve been running their mouth about her.

“Ayo, let me throw some gas on this muthafuckin’ year, bitch. I ain’t really talked my shit in a minute. Who the fuck these bitches really think they talking to? Bitch, is you fucking dumb?” she said in the clip.

The song, which serves as her first solo release since last year’s “Bongos,” prominently samples Missy Elliott‘s 1999 hit “She’s a Bitch.” Coincidentally, BIA’s 2023 single “I’m That Bitch” from 2023 samples the same track. That may be in part why fans connected her Tweet to the “WAP” rapper.

BIA may be focusing on her rap career because she hasn’t had much luck on the dating front.

Last year, the Massachusetts rapper revealed she was putting finding her perfect match in God’s hands.

“I literally pray to God to like redo this batch of men,” she said jokingly before breaking out into prayer. “Dear Father God, it’s me, BIA again. Just checking in to say hello. I want to thank you for all you’ve bestowed upon me. But please redo this batch Father God,” she said. “It’s not a good batch. In Jesus’ name. Amen.”

“I say that prayer at least like once a week,” she admitted.
