Beyonce Readies New Album

Beyonce fans can rejoice, as the R&B singer’s third solo album will be released on Nov. 18 via Music World Music/Columbia.

According to Billboard.com, the release will be preceded on Oct. 7 the radio release of the singles “If I Were a Boy” and “Single Ladies.” Beyonce co-wrote or co-produced all of the material on the album, which her label says is “her most personal, reflective and revelatory collection to-date.

Also set to appear on the album is Justin Timberlake, though no details on his contributions are available. However, both teamed up last week to cover Marvin Gaye/Tammi Terrell‘s “Ain’t Nothing Like the Real Thing” last Friday at the Fashion Rocks event at New York’s Radio City Music Hall.

Also contributing to the album is Jim Jonsin, who produced Lil Wayne’s “Lollipop.” Jonsin worked on Beyonce’s track “Beautiful Nightmare,” which leaked earlier this year, though it is not clear whether it will  make the album.

Beyonce’s last solo record, 2006’s B-Day, has sold 3.2 million copies in the United States.
