Benzino has taken a few shots at DJ Khaled and Funk Flex because he believes they both used him to get famous.

The former owner of The Source magazine came at the pair via a lengthy post on Twitter, and said they never gave him his flowers for providing them with a platform to succeed.

“It’s funny how when I owned the Source & EP’d the Source Awards I gave a lot these guys who are successful a major platform & some even a bag, but when I fell, they all act like they don’t me, I just smile how they big ‘celebrities’ now, back then needed my platform & helped them,” he wrote.

“I remember Dj Khalid dying to dj the Source Awards & to be in the magazine & I made it happen, or Kevin Hart wanting to host & I made it happen,” Benzino continued. “Funk master Flex another 1, I let him Dj, Now these n-ggas act like I’m a stranger, people don’t gaf, they use u with no reciprocation.”

Benzino went on to say in all his years in the industry, he’s never seen so many fake and obnoxious people.

“I’m sorry, I seen these guys when they had nothing, they didn’t act the way they act now,” he said. “I got more respect for these young N-ggas in the game, at least they looking out for they people. Damn you can’t bring the money with you when you go.”

He concluded: “Falling is apart of life, you fall, you get up, you keep going. I’ll be up again, I’m from the dirt, I’m a hustlers hustler. I got good karma. One thing about me is I never switched up, I’m the same now as I was when I was getting it. I always showed and show love.”

While neither DJ Khaled nor Flex have responded to Benzino’s claims, this is far from the first time Benzino has taken shots at his Hip Hop contemporaries. He’s had longstanding issues with Eminem, and recently came for Slim Shady again after the Detroit rapper was inducted into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

“Rock and roll hall of fame is just like the Grammy’s,” Zino tweeted hours after the announcement. “They have no respect for our culture, Black or Hip Hop and if you don’t agree, you’re racist, period point blank.”

Benzino continued his tirade by calling out the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame for inducting Eminem on his first go-around before other iconic Black Hip Hop acts such as Nas, Outkast and Lauryn Hill (all of whom meet the Rock Hall’s criteria for eligibility). However, the former Made Men rapper’s daughter Coi Leray came to Em’s defense.

“I’m about love, equality, respect and forgiveness,” she wrote on Twitter. “I have nothing against Eminem, 25 years of my life all I know is he a very talented artist and actor ! (8 Mile was great). Let’s build bridges and get over them before you burn the bridge and burn with it.”

Benzino’s own daughter has even been the target of his wrath in recent years.

Most recently, Benzino appeared to mock the first-week sales of Coi’s debut album Trendsetter (which earned roughly 11,000 album-equivalent units) by writing, “IF SHE HAD TRACK WITH @IAMBENZINO I WOULDA LISTENED @COILERAY” in an Instagram Story.
