During an exclusive interview with BattleRap.com, Beasley says that exclusive contracts have a place in Battle Rap.
“[We get] the most notoriety, the most street respect, [the most] online visibility [and] everything you could possibly want, we have it,” the URL executive says. “I can’t sign a record deal on Def Jam [Recordings], drop a single and say, ‘You know what? I think I wanna go to Atlantic Records next week.”
