Bangladesh Ends Cash Money Feud, Talks Future Projects

After talking to various media outlets to air his grievances with Lil Wayne and Cash Money, Bangladesh says he’ll be supplying beats for a few forthcoming Cash Money/Young Money releases. The producer behind Wayne’s “A Milli,” Gucci Mane’s “Lemonade” and dozens of other chart toppers, recently told AOL’s “The Boombox” blog that he and Cash Money are back on good terms.

“Everything is being worked out through the legal process,” Bangladesh said. “It’s really out of his control honestly. I mean he don’t run the label, he don’t own the label — he’s just on the label. I just got an email from my attorney saying they’re getting the exact number of what I’m owned and things will be taken care of. “

In May, Bangladesh claimed he had still not received his $500,000 in royalties for “A Milli,” which peaked at number 6 on Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Those claims were followed by a lawsuit from Jim Jonsin, another Carter III producer.

Bangladesh added that through talks with Young Money President Mack Maine, he came to an agreement for future beats for Wayne as well as Nicki Minaj. For the full story, visit The Boombox.

    1. 500k for that shit, 4rell! Wow, a loop word with 808 base and that south flavor drums can cost have half a mil, amazing!

      1. I know, right? It should be a limit on how much you can make if you didnt put any effort into the actual beat, LOL. Just drums and a Q-Tip sample.

      2. yeah but that album went platinum cuz of that song , and the song it self topped the charts , why you didn’t make that beat , the idea counts man!

    2. I fucks with Bangladesh I know his beats are basic and are usually looped with nothing but BASS but that’s not the point…the point is that it sounds good. some of yall be killing me talking about “all he do is loop and use the same effects” and yall not even producers…smh like you know what the fuck is going on…try using fruity loops for the first time and let me see you come up with something…it aint that easy
