Asian Doll has demanded that Twitter CEO Elon Musk restore the verified blue checkmark to her account after having it taken away earlier this month.

The Dallas rapper called out Musk and the social networking platform regarding the blue check as she feels it should’ve stayed with her account since she “worked for it.”

“Give me back my check @elonmusk @Twitter I worked for that it wasn’t bought,” she tweeted earlier this week.

Many fans flocked to Asian Doll’s replies to point out that she just needs to cough up $8 per month to get the checkmark replenished as part of the Twitter Blue program implemented by Musk.

“Pay for it you got it if we can afford it im sure you can,” one person wrote, while another fired back: “Stop crying over a damn blue check smh!”

Many celebrities’ blue checkmarks were stripped earlier this month, although Musk decided to pick up the tab and restore a few himself like LeBron James’ Twitter Blue subscription.

Don’t expect Doja Cat to be getting a blue check again, though, as she called those that pay the $8-a-month for Twitter Blue “desperate for validation from famous people.”

“Having a blue tick now means theres a higher chance that you’re a complete loser and that you’re desperate for validation from famous people,” she wrote to Twitter.

Elon Musk’s ability to run Twitter has been the source of much speculation since he bought the popular social media platform in October 2022.

The Game and Akon have both been critical of Musk’s plan when it comes to implementing Twitter Blue.

“They came up with a verification process to protect accounts from fakes ones, now @elonmusk is taking that away and forcing us to pay,” Akon wrote in a since-deleted tweet, according to TMZ.

“FYI, I ain’t paying shit for something we helped build.”

The Game slammed those who purchased a checkmark in an Instagram Story, writing: “If you bought your verification and I know you personally, delete my number. It tells me everything I need to know about you. You a broke cheater — we are not the same.”
