Los Angeles, CA

50 Cent has hit out at A$AP Relli, the man who has accused A$AP Rocky of shooting him in 2021, after he got up on the witness stand during the trial and detailed the alleged incident.

Reacting to Relli’s testimony on Instagram on Tuesday (January 28), the G-Unit boss slammed the former A$AP Mob member while also showing support to Pretty Flacko, who has pleaded not guilty to two felony counts of assault with a firearm.

Alongside a clip of Relli (real name Terell Ephron) telling the court that Rocky pointed a gun at his torso and was “looking for a spot to shoot” during their dispute, 50 wrote: “Man I hope Rockie alright this fool just want some money [money bag emoji].

He added: “We seen this movie before [film camera emoji] it’s a re run, sucker ass [ninja emoji] smh.”

Tuesday’s court hearing found A$AP Relli speaking at length about his run-in with A$AP Rocky in November 2021, during which two shots were fired, allegedly grazing Relli’s hand.

Detailing the moment the Harlem rapper allegedly pulled a gun on him, he said: “I told him to use it. Because mentally I couldn’t believe it. I physically could not believe there was a gun in my face. That was the breaking point for me.”

He also claimed that Rocky told him: “I’ll kill you right now” while pointing the gun at him.

While Relli’s testimony (which is expected to continue on Wednesday) has not yet gotten to the actual moment of the shooting, he explained that he and Rocky had a frayed relationship for some time.

He also read out text messages from the “Praise Da Lord” hitmaker, including one in which he told Relli: “Let’s get to it.”

The meeting where the shooting happened was organized to apparently clear the air, but Relli claimed Rocky began yelling obscenities at him from a distance.

Relli then said that Rocky pulled a gun out of his waistband and pointed it at him. Prosecutors allege that Rocky fired the gun twice.

A$AP Rocky, for his part, has claimed that Relli was the aggressor during the meeting and was looking to “extort” him.

He has also claimed that he only fired a prop gun which shoots blanks, and that he carried it for protection. However, Rocky’s legal team have admitted that the starter pistol no longer exists.

The trial, which began last Friday (January 24), is expected to last around 15 das. If convicted, Rocky faces up to 24 years in prison.

Jury selection was a contentious point even before the trial got underway, with no Black jurors chosen despite the racial diversity of Los Angeles.

While Rocky and his legal team did object to the lack of Black jurors, it has led to outcry from noted civil rights activist, Al Sharpton, who called the make up of the jury “very wrong.”
