Anderson .Paak could not get the smile off his face when he was asked about buying Christmas gifts for his rumored new boo, Mariah Carey.
The unlikely duo were spotted in Aspen, Colorado together on Sunday (December 22) dining at Catch Steak, with Mariah and .Paak holding hands as they entered the restaurant.
The next day, a photographer for The Shade Room spotted .Paak shopping out in Aspen and after exchanging pleasantries, asked if he’d gotten anything for Mariah.
“You never know!” he said with a bashful laugh and he grinned from ear to ear.
During their outing, Anderson .Paak could also be seen with his arm around Mariah’s waist and holding the door open for her.

According to TMZ, the two musicians left the restaurant independently of each other. The publication added that Mariah and Anderson are not actually dating but are instead working on new music together – though his response to the shopping question seems to hint at more.
The pair, who are both said to be single, were also recently photographed together at a Halloween party hosted by .Paak in West Hollywood.
Anderson .Paak got divorced earlier this year after 12 years of marriage to Jaylyn Chang.
The couple welcomed two children together during their lengthy relationship.
