American Music Awards Announce 2010 Nominees Including Eminem, Drake

    This year’s American Music Awards will air on Nov. 21 at the Nokia Theatre in Los Angeles. The award committee announced the nominees on Tuesday, with a list covering popular artists in each music genre.

    Eminem and country group Lady Antebellum lead the nominations with five nods each. Em oddly earned a nomination for Favorite Male Artist in both the Pop and Rap/Hip Hop categories, going against Justin Bieber as well as Drake. Drake’s album Thank Me Later will go up against Recovery and The Adventures of Bobby Ray in the Favorite Rap/Hip Hop Music Album section.

    Other nominees include Usher, The Black Eyed Peas, Chris Brown, Sade, and others:

    1. Wow, Em is miles ahead of Drake and the rest of those nominated clowns. American Music awards don’t represent the Americans I kick it with.

    2. i’m glad eminem is back with a great album and strong sales, the AMA’s really recognized that. other winners will likely be lady gaga, alicia keys, and lady antebellum. and usher’s performing too so i’ll be watching.
