Yarl’s family attorney Lee Meritt said the Grammy award winner contacted him, and also received support from ROC Nation, who said if Yarl needed assistance, to contact them immediately. It was reported that Yarl’s mom has also been in touch with Ahmaud Arbery’s mom.

The outpouring of support comes as Yarl’s GoFundMe page has continued to rake in dozens of donations, surpassing nearly $3.5 million as of Monday morning.
