Members of The St. Lunatics are also scheduled to appear on the album. The Tics have had many chart toppers in the past. With Nelly leading the way, they had a successful start but it seems they have been on a brief break for quite some time. Nevertheless, Gipp and Ali made their mark on Nelly’s Grillz, which came out earlier this year.

The first single off the record is said to be Go ‘Head. The album Kinfolk is slated for an August 15 release on Universal.

In related news Nelly recently threw a huge party. The rapper partnered up with Budweiser Select to host The Black and White shindig for Independence Day. The formal event was held this past weekend and featured performances by D.L. Hughley, Murphy Lee, Jermaine Dupri and Nelly.
