Alabama Rapper Bam Bam Carter Found Dead In Trunk Of Burning Car

A body discovered in the trunk of a burning car in Birmingham, Alabama earlier this month has now been identified as local rapper Bam Bam Carter, according to AL.com.

The body of the rapper, real name Paul Matthew Carter, was found on June 8, but it wasn’t until this week that the Jefferson County Coroner’s Office was able to confirm the identity. Given that the body was unidentifiable upon discovery, the coroner’s office used dental records to confirm it was Carter.

Police haven’t announced any arrests in the rapper’s death.

While speaking with AL.com, those close to Carter expressed their shock.

“He was all about helping anybody he could … That was my friend,” Ashley Rogers, a friend of Carter’s said. “I’ve been knowing Bam for 12 years and have never known for him to do anything wrong to or towards anybody. His legacy will live on through all of that loved him and his music. I’m sick to my stomach cause they didn’t have to do him like that.”

A YouTube account for Carter features a combination of audio tracks, music videos, and live performance footage.

          1. Reptilian is a state of mind not an actual species you idiot. Some people operate or are controlled by the reptilian part of the brain. The animal brain.

    1. Sad but lets keep 100. I just watched the video and I think its safe to say Bam Bam was involved some shit that went left real quick that caused him to end up in the trunk of a burning car. Ppl aint nothing wrong with choosing options other than street life cause again its either jail or death. You live longer if you choose something else. Just saying

    2. Clearly he did something wrong to somebody. People just don’t end up in the trunk of a burning car. That sounds like some mafia type sh*t.

    3. Sad story. Smarten up young men. If you have “talent” and potential to do something positive and constructive to build a better life for yourself and your family drop the glorified street thug bullshit. It’s not worth it just so u can talk tough on a record. Nobody in the real world respects that shit anyway. Get it together.

    4. Damn what waste, PPL really have to find other ways of dealin with some one without killing them. This guys was big but hehad potential and was actually pretty good.

    5. Ive never heard of this dude but to lose your life like this is very sad his music wasn’t bad !!!!!!!!

      1. My comment may have been outta line, but I didn’t hold back on my thoughts. Prodigy never held back on what he had to say either. That’s what hip hop is about, expressing your feelings and not giving a fuck what anyone else thinks. BamBam’s death is fucked up though. No one should go out that way.

    6. “no disrespect” then says hell be forgotten in a week. shit you wouldn’t even get a news blip if u died.

    7. my God this is very sad he was friends with the other Birmingham Alabama rapper pickalo caesar from airport records I know he’s taking it hard I just pray for his friends and family.
