Akademiks has put former NBA star Danny Green on blast for allegedly sliding into his girlfriend’s DMs.

The media personality joined The Facto Show where he recalled the three-time NBA champion messaging his girlfriend following his 2019 NBA Finals win with the Toronto Raptors.

“It was Danny Green,” Ak said. “He was on the Toronto Raptors. And by the way, that was the year they won the championship so he’s on fire. He’s thinking any girl he hit is gonna be [down]. He’s messaging her, whatever.

“I’m not gonna lie, I was a little disappointed she’s answering. A man shouldn’t be able to ask my girl certain questions like, ‘You ever been out here?’ ‘Oh nah, I wanna visit.’ What you mean you wanna visit? You with me.”

Akademiks said he decided to give Green a taste of his own medicine after noticing that Green had recently got married and had posted wedding photos with his wife, Blair Bashen.

“When I seen that shit, I vaguely remember because I clicked on his profile — yo, he had just got married the last month. He posting his wife up and everything,” he continued.

“Well, if you tryna get my bitch, I’m gonna get your bitch. I ain’t gonna lie, I DM’d his girl. I just told the truth. I said, ‘Listen, your husband is tryna get my girl so I need you. What’s up? Let’s swap it out.’

He added: “She says, ‘No, it’s not true.’ By the way, she’s still got wedding pictures up there. Her last picture is a wedding picture. I said, ‘If you don’t believe me, go check his phone because I got it on the other end.’ Don’t mess with my girl.”

Despite his recollection, Akademiks’ timeline could be off. Based on social media posts, Danny Green and Blair Bashen — who share one child together — appeared to have gotten married in August 2021.

It’s possible that Ak may have mixed up Green’s championship rings, with the sniper also being a member of the Los Angeles Lakers squad that won the Larry O’Brien Trophy in 2020.
