“I felt like for me to actually get people to support this Trials & Tribulations album, that’s dropping July 16, like I needed them to understand what I’ve been through and really kind of visualize and see my trials and tribulations and understand where the passion come from, understand where the hunger come from,” Ace Hood said.

The “We The Best” label founder also spoke about his team including updates about DJ Khaled and his newest signee, Vado.

“Khaled’s amazing man, Khaled’s good man, he’s working on his new album Suffering From Success so he’s been real focused. I’m proud of Khaled man he’s been doing it for so long. He’s still creating and music is still fun for him and he loves it,” he said. “They working like crazy, actually Vado has new singles so it’s crazy.”

    1. ace hood is straight trash! seriously who likes this homo thug? his album going x3 wood fuck this joke.

    2. all his songs sound just alike . same topic different beat. Hes trying re do hustle hard so bad . he wont ever sell. might just go the coner and sell his bootyhole

    3. His last album had 2 decent songs, but he’ll never have one that just sends him through the hip hop stratosphere, and that’s ok. Just get the money.

    4. so basic same flow same type of beats garbage rapper worse than meek don’t even know why all the 13 year old fags think he goes hard just cus he raps on the same type of beat with the same flow every time.

    5. “Ace Hood’s name has heavily reemerged in the Hip Hop game over the last several months creating singles that are flooding clubs and radio alike.”

That statement is bullshit haha. I don’t mind Ace, he just has yet to put together a decent album, or mixtape in my opinion.

    6. He makes some good music but keeping it real his only hungry because his still broke and in a way thats a good thing because when artists start making big money they loose that hunger and get comfortable

    7. I listen to him for his flow, his delivery. Not his lyrics. He should spit less about material shit. That’s al he does, almost every song. We already know that. His flow is tight but his lyrics need deeper substance. I know that’s harder, but it needs to be done, Ace. Ya need to progress or else people will lose interest. Real talk , no hate.

    8. As an accountant at ymcmb, after doing sales projections, ace hood will do at least 300k opening week, beating out Yeezus and Jcole, possibly combined.

    9. great, more redundant music featuring the same redundant beats and features.. who’s looking forward to this again?..

    11. I liked his “Starvation” mixtape, but im still not convinced that Ace Hood is a GREAT artist. He cool, but I dont think he’ll ever have a huge hit. Maybe he isnt trying to make huge hits, but from all the features he has and all the songs he’s featured on, im under the impression that he wants to be as big as the guys he raps with.

      1. Give him some credit though. 4 albums deep is still 4 albums deep. A lot of bum ass rappers releasing mixtapes wishing they had a major release ready to drop.

      2. Do you want him to suceed? I Don’t. Im thinking it will sell 60k copies at most opening week.

    12. “None of his albums were huge hits and he only had 1 top ten album”

Take that negativity to the cheap seats Erik Estrada.
