Ace Hood is back with another installment of his Starvation series as he announced the fifth edition on his Instagram page. Starvation 5 is due out July 11.

The Broward County Boss released the cover art and drop date for Starvation 5 yesterday at 4:59 p.m. EST because it is the area code for his hometown, 954, backwards.

“If u want to see the sunshine u have to weather the storm,” he writes for the caption of the promotional video.

When he released the cover art, he added “There comes a time in life where we must rise even when the odds are stacked against us.”

This news comes after Ace Hood dropped Starvation 4 in November, claiming it would be the last of his mixtape series.

Since then, he has released the “1st Round Draft Pick,” “4th Quarter” and “Father’s Day” tracks.

The “Bugatti” rapper is part of DJ Khaled’s We The Best Music Group, which joined Epic Records in April.

    1. We’ve been eating! Keep that dogsh*t m*xt@pe. And put a f**king shirt on already. Nobody wants to see that sh*t!

    2. Hey Victoria. I think you meant to type “M!xt@pe” in the headline, since you know, us commenters are banned from typing the actual word. -____-

    3. Ace actually use to be pretty dope and had nice tracks and production. Now all of his songs sound the same.
Khaled has took care of Ace I’m a fan of his past work but he hasn’t sold that many records at all, shout out to
      Khaled dude seems extremely loyal.

    4. Starving? Or waking up in a new bugatti? Hate how rappers try whining about having nothing after having so much for 10+ years you hear he has a starvation series then yet tracks like new bugatti and hustle hard imply the oposite…think most these rappers in this game are bipolar…

    5. The highly anticipated 3rd album from Connecticut’s hottest rap star! He returns with more of that gritty, grimey sound he’s become famous for while touching on topics that range from love and death to revenge. A must have for any Hip-Hop fan.
