Young Buck is set to finally pay off his debt to former friend and label boss 50 Cent as their legal dispute has come to an end.
Buck owed Fif $250,000 resulting from a loan the G-Unit boss paid to his former artist to cover his financial problems.
Now, Buck (real name David Brown) has gone through the bankruptcy process and has been able to pay off his debts to 50, according to AllHipHop.
The Straight Outta Cashville rapper has sold off his most valuable assets as part of his bankruptcy, including items of jewelry, luxury cars and the rights to his back catalog, raising just over $1 million.
He has used the $1 million to free his obligations to 50, as well as pay off a $190,000 IRS lien plus child support debts.
Buck is now free of any recording obligations to 50 Cent and is able to resume earning income from his rap career.
As expected, it did not take 50 long to react to the news, with the rap legend and mogul saying on Instagram that he wants his money pronto.
He wrote: “I don’t know why they make me go through this part, but I’m a need that money by Monday.”
50 Cent and Young Buck have had bad blood ever since the Tennessee native was expelled from G-Unit in 2008. Outside of diss tracks and shots on social media, Buck has blamed 50 for forcing him into bankruptcy.
“Once he stopped me from being able to make money, I filed another bankruptcy,” he said on the It’s Tricky with Raquel Harper podcast in 2022. “They stopped him from being able to cease-and-desist in regards to me being able to, you know.
“I included what he claimed that I owed him in the bankruptcy to be able to say, ‘Well hey, if you’re owed this and present whatever receipts or whatever… You will be paid type of situation.’ But that was the only way I was able to go forward with working, so.”
Despite their issues, Buck has not ruled out a reconciliation with his former G-Unit comrade.
“Could I come back to G-Unit and tour and get money together? Yeah. I’m open to that,” he said during an appearance on The Ed Clay Show earlier this year. “In regards to me signing to the label and stuff like that, I think that’s a little bit far-fetched right now.”
Straight Outta CA$H
Hopefully this means the Young Buck and DJ Paul album will finally get released
50 is not a good person,he could let that money go. Although it’s legal, and bucks needs to pay the money, I bet 50 doesn’t need the money and Young buck needs. So it’s just to show he is pitty and not a good person. I wish all the best
Yeah and Jay-Z didn’t get rich by killing his community with drugs. Stop pretending rappers are cuddly, when they rap about hustle what do you think that means?
Shit it means do what ever it takes to be or get what you want in a business to be successful in your own self gratification. going against all morals, loyalty, honesty, decency, can also be a play at being successful which is sad, my opinion and this should always work, self sufficient, consistent hard work, and believe in yourself she’ll always help you achieve your goals
Get your hand out that man pocket.
Man shut your ass up🤡🤡🤡

Let’s be honest, everyone in G-Unit depended on 50´s money. He brought them up, took them on tour with him several times, even when they had not a released an album in years. Yayo is the clever one. He knows, he is not a good rapper and makes why more money by being around 50 than by doing stupid stuff like Buck. Buck will never learn his lesson. He tells the same story on every interview. When he was young and became rich he spend too much and then the IRS came to collect. It seems like he makes this mistake over and over again.
50 is an Uncle Tom goon, his fan base is all white boy glazers✌🏾
pretty obvious buck laid pipe to a girl 50 really dug hiw petty
Yayo is a good rapper… wat are u saying bro
Don’t play with people money if someone owes you money you want your money back to POPTART
Broke people arguing about other people’s money.
I’ll explain 50’s unwillingness to stop being petty in this situation: he grew up with no father and lost his mother very young to a homicide and he’s infamously hasn’t trusted anybody but his grandmother and grandfather ever since. So when he signed to em and Dre and blew up and g unit blew up, he made it a point of his to make sure everybody knew he was the breadwinner and even if that meant taking all the a lot light whenever g unit was around, of course some people in the unit didn’t like that including Buck and Banks but Banks was way more smart about how he handled it, Banks would let the music talk, but Buck would just talk smack flat out lol. Of course 50 didn’t like this and I’m not saying this is right but when a friend betrays 50 he takes it super seriously and there’s nothing anybody can say to him about not destroying that former friends career. I’m not saying that’s right but that’s 50’s thinking. He’s not being malicious per say, he’s just a dangerous friend to make of you plan on crossing him verbally.
And in Bucks defense, he was the only g unit artist that had built his own career respectively before meeting 50 so it does make sense that if anyone felt a certain way about not having the spot light it would be buck. Also it was no question buck was 50’s favourite artist out of g unit. He bopped his head hard whenever buck would rap I notice that. So there’s no doubt 50 feels tried by buck.
I’m sorry but know matter what my net worth is if you owe me money you’re paying that $hit back. If I let you slide then some other fool will try the same thing and I ain’t playing that. Carry on!!!
