50 Cent has been sued after he threw a microphone into a crowd that hit a woman in the face.

50 had earlier avoided criminal charges over the incident, but the victim, Power 106 host Bryhana Monegain, has claimed she was permanently injured after being hit with the microphone during a gig at the Crypto.com Arena in Los Angeles last August.

In court documents obtained by TMZ, Monegain claims that once 50 realized his microphone wasn’t working correctly, he threw it into the crowd and hit her in the face and wrist, leading to severe and permanent injuries.

Monegain claims she suffered a concussion and an open cut on her forehead, as well as bruises.

While Monegain is back on air at the L.A. radio station, she claims to continue to suffer from emotional distress and is suing for lost income, medical expenses and damages.

50 previously denied intending to injure anybody and was previously cleared of any potential criminal charges when Los Angeles’ attorney’s office ruled there was no case to answer.

In a video of the incident, 50 Cent was performing with special guest YG and could be seen getting frustrated as he was handed a broken microphone and threw it into the crowd below.

After the incident, the rapper’s attorney released a statement saying: “Let’s be very clear, as I told LAPD this afternoon, my client Curtis (AKA 50 Cent) would never intentionally strike anyone with a microphone. Anyone saying something different doesn’t have all the facts and is misinformed.”

Per the writ of execution, 50 claimed that the former Roc-A-Fella singer owes him $50,476. He was initially awarded a judgment of $30,618, plus another $5,000 in sanctions.

However, an additional $14,000 in interest has been added to the judgment due to her failure to pay what she owes.
