50 Cent Granted Visitation Rights

Today, a Long Island judge awarded rapper 50 Cent with regular visitation with his 11-year-old son Marquise.

50 Cent will be able to see his son every other weekend up until his appearance at a Suffolk County Family Court on October 22 for the custody trial.

An order of protection was placed on 50 Cent by his ex-girlfriend and mother of Marquise, Shaniqua Tompkins after someone set her home on fire back in May. Tompkins accused 50 Cent of being behind the incident, but agreed to let 50 Cent see his son every other weekend.

Since Tompkins placed an order of protection against 50 Cent, their son will have to be dropped off by his mother at a Queen’s police precinct and then picked up by a member of 50 Cent‘s family on visiting weekends.

Although the custody trial is only weeks away, 50 Cent has no plans on changing his current lifestyle.

“Yeah, I’m happy. I get a chance to see him,” 50 Cent explained. “I’m going to hang out with some (women). Make some music, make some movies, and continue to kick it.”
