50 Cent is showing no signs of letting up in the media space as his film and TV empire continues to grow at a vociferous pace.
The G-Unit mogul has announced plans for his next original series titled Vice City, which he’s developing in collaboration with Paramount+ and Lionsgate Television, according to Deadline.

Vice City reportedly “follows three friends, and former soldiers, who return to their home city of Miami in the mid-’80s after being dishonorably discharged from the military for their involvement in the Iran Contra scandal.”
Facing financial challenges in America, the trio forms a heist crew and they pull off several dangerous missions with a “mysterious Colombian immigrant” calling the shots.

“From the director of John Wick Chad Stahelski & ya Boy 50 VICE CITY GLG BOOM I don’t miss,” 50 captioned an Instagram post announcing the show on Thursday (March 9).
The plot attracted the attention of a few Power universe actors including Gianni Paolo and Kris D. Lofton who voiced their desire for roles in Vice City.

Deadline‘s report debunks the rumor that 50’s Vice City series was going to be affiliated with the 2002 Grand Theft Auto video game.
Fans were excited that 50 appeared to be linking up with Rockstar Games for some sort of Vice City television depiction or Grand Theft Auto VI collaboration, but that’s not going to be the case.
“I will Explain this later, GLG. GreenLightGang,” he wrote cryptically. “this shit bigger than POWER trust me. BOOM.”
2023 is shaping up to be another busy year in the TV scene for 50, who has Power Book II: Ghost Season 3 returning to STARZ on March 17, but he doesn’t care if fans stream it illegally since he’s now part of the FOX family and no longer with the premium network.
