50 Cent has confirmed that he is working on new music but he does not have a new album on the way.
The G-Unit mogul, who has not released an album since 2014’s Animal Ambition, said to Cam’ron on his new YouTube show Talk with Flee: “I’ma make some new music.”

However, he quickly dampened hopes that a new album is in the works by adding: “I’m gonna end up putting it in some of the new projects,” referencing his various film and TV ventures.
50 has dropped several singles in recent years in support of his Power and BMF TV shows, incuding “Power Powder Respect” with Lil Durk and Jeremih and the Snoop Dogg, Moneybagg Yo and Charlie Wilson-assisted “Wish Me Luck.”
While 50 Cent may not be planning a new album anytime soon, he does have an exciting collaboration dropping this Friday (December 13).
The Queens, New York native legend is a confirmed feature on Snoop Dogg‘s new album Missionary which is being entirely produced by Dr. Dre.

50 appears on a track called “Gunz N Smoke,” which also features his longtime friend and collaborator Eminem. It will mark the first-ever collaboration between Snoop, Dre, 50 and Em as a four-man unit.
50’s comments to Cam’ron come as a something of a surprise as he previously suggested that he was working on a new album.
Back in early 2023, he promised fans that new music was on the way and that he was going to hit the studio with Eminem and Dr. Dre.
“As soon as I said that, I got a text from Eminem] that he had already spoke to Dre, and that Dre is in there and he got some crazy stuff for me to go hear,” he told Big Boy, referencing an earlier announcement that he had new music, a new movie and a new TV show coming.

“This is my process: I’ll go make something, what I can find, the best music that I can put my hands on. And when I feel real good about it, I bring it to put pressure on Dre to offer me something. ‘Cause he’ll have something… He’s always had something.”
For his part, Eminem has even floated the idea of a collaborative album with 50 Cent.

He said in an interview with DJ Whoo Kid earlier this year: “I’m trying to get him to make a new album so bad. We need another 50 album like really bad. 50’s on a roll right now. He’s been on a roll since the tour.”
Em added: “I told him whatever the fuck he needs from me, I’m here. That shit’d be crazy, though — an album with me and him.”
