50 Cent is feeling confident about Lil Durk beating his murder-for-hire case now that the Chicago rapper has enlisted the help of high-powered lawyer Drew Findling.

In an Instagram post on Thursday (November 14), 50 shared a photo of Findling – who has successfully represented the likes of Cardi B, Lil Baby, DaBaby and more – and noted that Durk is in good hands.

“Lil Durk got Drew Findling on the case he sharp,” Fif wrote. “if [the prosecution] didn’t cross their T’s and dot their i’s he gonna hit the bricks again.”

A detention hearing has been set for December 12 to determine whether he will be granted bond, which prosecutors are strongly recommending against.

Durk was initially hit with one charge of conspiracy to commit murder-for-hire over an alleged murder plot that killed the cousin of his rap rival Quando Rondo. However, in a superseding indictment filed on November 7, the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Central District of California charged him with two more crimes: one count of use of interstate facilities to commit murder-for-hire resulting in death, and one count of using, carrying and discharging firearms and a machine gun and possession of such firearms in furtherance of a crime of violence resulting in death.

Following Durk’s arrest last month, 50 Cent recalled meeting him early on and warning him to watch his back when it comes to members of his OTF crew.

“With Durk, I was telling him when he was in New York [when] we did the Power theme [song],” he said in an interview with The Breakfast Club. “I was like, ‘This is them? They the real shit?’ He was like, ‘Yeah, yeah.’ And I said, ‘Yo, just watch them.’ His crew.

“[Durk replied], ‘You know what? Somebody just came to my house. How did they know exactly what my address is? Who has my address? Nobody,’” referencing the 2021 home invasion where shots were fired between the rapper and the intruders.

50’s remarks may have been prescience as it has been speculated that somebody in Lil Durk’s OTF camp was working as an informant which led to his recent arrest for murder for hire.

However, there is currently no confirmation or evidence to support the rumors.
