50 Cent Addresses Lil Wayne & Birdman Beef

Opening up about his thoughts on the current feud between Lil Wayne and Cash Money, 50 Cent sat down with MTV recently and explained why he’s happy to have total control over his own albums’ release dates as a newly independent artist.

“I enjoy the freedom of being able to set the date,” he said. “To say, ‘It’s gonna come out on that date ’cause it says it’s gonna come out on that date.’ Everybody else can catch up.”

Addressing Wayne’s release date woes at Cash Money, 50 offered his perspective on the rift.

“I’m surprised to see Wayne going through that because of the relationship between him and Baby,” he said. “I think it’ll work itself out. I hate when personal things become public ’cause everyone [speculates] on things they don’t really know. I just know that they had a father-son relationship and that could easily be something that they communicate between the two of them and resolve instead of having everybody else involved. Be careful the things that you say about the Wayne and Baby situation. Baby will forgive Wayne for the things that he’s saying and Wayne will forgive Baby for the things he’s saying, but they may not forgive you. The relationship has so much depth to it that you really shouldn’t even speak on it. Because they’re public people we don’t think about it but that’s like me being in the middle of you and your mom having an argument. Then you and your mom make up for whatever reasons but I can’t come over your mother’s house no more ’cause of the stuff I said.”

    1. Wayne and Baby definitely gonna make up and start kissing again and a lot of these niggas picking sides gonna be left in the dust

      1. i think its more that hes waiting for the perfect moment to put it out to maximize the success, unfortunately for him it may never come

      2. Caroline is deciding when to release his albums. And he can’t even get street king immortal out right now, much less tony yayo and lloyd bank albums.

      3. Even Tony Yayo knows hes never dropping another album. He knows his role and he plays it well. As for 50 realeasing his new album, he knows timing is everything, unfortunately he doesn’t have a time machine.

      4. You don’t know shit, teethboy. 50 only signed a distrubution deal with Caroline. He’s the one who controls the release dates, not them.

    2. Baby will forgive Wayne for the things that he’s saying and Wayne will forgive Baby for the things he’s saying, but they may not forgive you.

Birdman won’t forgive wayne for a long ass time. And if wayne stabs his fans in the back, its only natural they will talk shit about him.

      1. You mean Wayne won’t firgive Birdman for a long time. He never stabbed his fans in the back, so they don’t have a reason to talk shit about him.

    3. 50 is the laaaaast person that should ever open his mouth about shit like this. I’ve lost count of the amount of times he’s publicly aired out G-Unit and his business associates. Kettle talking to the pot right here.

      1. what is 50 losing compared to ross? is ross signing 8 figure endorsement deals? does ross have a hit tv show? Ross making Mac Miller money.

      2. Ross is signing deals with nike and wingstop easily for 8 figures. 50 ain’t doing that. His show is flopping and Ross made more than mac miller, donated most of it to charity.

      3. And he doesn’t have a Nike deal. After he lost his Reebok endorsement he just started back wearing Nikes. No money from this.

      4. Please. Ross is losing big time to 50. 50 is making more money. Ross has no deal with Wingstop or Nike for 8 figures. 50’s show is not flopping (far from it) and Ross made less than Mac Miller and didn’t donate to charity.

    4. Man 50 had me laughing!! For one he put his crew on blast from Game to Tony Yayo. Put Young Buck phone conversation on blast, but you gonna sit up there and say you hate when personal issues go public.

      1. you can hate something but still find it necessary to do in some situations. I hate cleaning my house but I still gotta do it. I hate clipping my toe nails but I still do it. I hate going to the dentist but its gotta be done.

    5. 50 knows what he’s talking about, he went crazy on his crew, his son and his son’s mother on social media, he paid for that. these weren’t people outside his circle that he could give to craps about, these were people he loved. he had to do a lot of making up and it would have no doubt been easier had he not made that public and just had these private fights like family do from time to time. He’s right when he says that it’s better to stay out of that issue because in the end that’s between family.

      1. Hood Flopinionaire was a huge failure for a major label like Def Jam. J Cole sold more than both Ross albums combined in less than 1 month.

      2. both albums are at about the same only one of them was on a major label and had big name features from the likes of jay-z

      1. Cash Money won’t live on forever, it will die on and hip-hop will still live without it (it already has before Cash Money were ever a thing).

      2. You got it all wrong. Cash Money didn’t invent hip-hop at all. Hip-hop has been around since the 70s. Do your research next time because you disgraced hip-hop history with your bullshit comment.

      3. Seriously though Like wtf? You must be a special kind of stupid to make that statement. Jedi Mind Tricks, Atmosphere, Deltron, You obviously have no idea what is actual hip hop you stupid fuck. Please kill yourself you fucking piece of trash.

      4. No, I was talking about hip-hop, not pop rap. How is all rap outside of Cash Money from the past to now pop rap considering that Cash Money makes nothing but pop rap? Like I said, hip-hop has existed since the 70s, so there’s no way that your comment would make sense.

    6. People don’t know but Young Thug, Kevin Gates, Ty Dolla Sign and DaVinchee X, Vic Mensa gona be the future of music and Hip Hop fuck all haters.

      1. They said the same about Soulja Boy, VIC, MIMS, Lil’ Scrappy & Lupe. And your list is 10x weaker so keep dreaming son.
