2Pac’s Estate Reportedly Gearing Up To Release Four Unreleased Records

2Pac‘s estate is reportedly gearing up to put out four previously unreleased tracks from the late rapper as part of a Greatest Hits album.

The news arrives via 2Pac’s “only official fan page,” which wrote on Instagram that the album “will consist of previously released recordings from the ‘2Pacalypse Now’ period to Pac’s ‘Thug Life’ period with 4 previously unreleased Pre-Death Row tracks.”

In a podcast interview in December, 2Pac associate E-Love confirmed that unreleased Battlecat-produced songs have been in the vault and would be arriving sometime in 2023.

“Bob did more songs with him than I did,” E-Love said on the I Only Touch Greatness podcast. “I did two to three songs. Actually two songs are coming out next year. Bob did a string of songs that still have not yet come out.”

The Shakur Estate settled a five-year-old lawsuit with Death Row Records over royalties owed to the late rapper in 2018. In addition to financial compensation, a batch of unreleased music was handed over and intentions to release two albums were discussed.

In 2019, Suge Knight Jr. took to social media to add on to his claims that 2Pac was still alive, insisting that the Hip Hop luminary was even making new music.

“I GOT PAC BACK IN THE STUDIO. NEW MUSIC COMING,” he wrote in a since-deleted Instagram post. “This ain’t a joke. @NewDeathRow??/?? Coming soon.”

While numerous people questioned Knight’s mental state, others were convinced his posts were just a convoluted way of plugging the unreleased music the Tupac Shakur Estate has in the vault.

And while the theory 2Pac is still alive is quite a stretch, fans can actually now text the late rapper thanks to a new artificial intelligence chatbot that allows users to message notable people from history.

Historical Figures was released last month, and ‘Pac is among 20,000 names like Babe Ruth, Biggie Smalls and even Adolf Hitler that users can message. The app has already created some controversy, however, as users have pointed out historical inaccuracies in some of their conversations.

      1. R U STILL DOWN was a collection of original songs that weren’t remixed unless it says so . I don’t necessarily disagree with you, but LOYAL TO THE GAME and PAC’S LIFE would’ve made better examples.

      2. Wait until you hear the stinkers they’re gonna come up with now!

      3. What you got to understand is that Ready 4 Whatever Only Fear Of Death Definition Of A Thug Nothing 2 Lose Nothing But Love and When I Get Free are the Only OG’s on the album and most like

      4. Look Ready 4 Whatever Only Fear Of Death Definiton Of A Thug Nothing To Lose Nothing But Love When I Get Free Are The Only Finished OG’s around and mostly everything on anything after Makaveli we’re 80% remixed or remakes not too many OG’s on his projects

    1. The hardest unreleased material were the bootlegs after he passed. It seems like bills need to get paid with this nonsense. And quit it with the pop up ads hhdx. Between y’all and your partnership with AHH, y’all been making these sites irritating af trying to navigate. And I mention AHH bc that’s where Ivey and that one annoying NWA fan girl drifted to…so please, quit the pop ups and traps for the paid ad clicks.

      1. I don’t know. Johnny J said he still had like 30 songs when he died. A lot of those songs were on the old reels, and people at Death Row weren’t exactly a buttoned up company to begin with, so we may never hear it all. I know I’ve heard that beat to My Baby’s Mama without his lyrics, and that shit sound cold. I already know he laced it when I listen to the beat.

    2. Those original One Nation joints had potential, really wish that project would’ve happened before his passing…

      1. Go register to Bomb1st.com and download the new released one nation project made by some great great great dj’s/producers.

    3. This is content deemed not worth releasing back then..pretty sure there’s a reason. They are obviously of lesser quality. Its gonna stink up to high heaven’s alright!

      1. Not always. Some of these were songs he’d keep working but never put out because you have to remember that the artists didn’t just make the decisions back then like today. A&R people picked the singles and put the album track lists together. There were a bunch of songs from the All Eyez on Me sessions that I thought were better than some of the songs that made it. Changes got recorded and never made an album, and a lot of people say that’s one of his best songs. Same with Do for Love. He kept working on that song with several versions over the years. So you never know.

      1. There are pretty good quality copies of those two out there. If it’s stuff we’ve heard before, I’m just hoping they touch some of these ones up that have been around on bootlegs in terrible quality. Either that or something we haven’t heard before but not throwaway tracks that he wouldn’t have put out anyway in a million years like some of this shit they’ve put out.

    4. R U still down was all original material he recorded before or after me against the world. Beats and lyrics. What they need to do is keep the content original with this new stuff. Original analog production. Original features. All that shit. I can’t stand that shit when they put his lyrics on songs with artists he never worked with like 50 cent or Eminem or DMX or any other artists he never knew. And especially with artists he wasn’t cool with. That shit is lame. You can tell the shit was pulled from a sample and plugged into the song and that it didn’t come from a studio session which is how it was done back then. It sounds really inauthentic. It’d be cool if some of this new music was some thug life shit we ain’t heard or some shit he and biggie did from way back. But if it’s a bunch of shit featuring people that he never did a song with, then I don’t want to hear it.
