Filipino rapper Miss A embraces old-school hip hop in her first single of the year, “Wit Tha Funk,” featuring Fateeha.

The up-and-coming MC shares about despite being born in the 2000s, Miss A raps “growing up and influenced by the 1990s and 80s flow” and most importantly,  “learning from the funk.”

The track was helmed by Morobeats label founder and resident beatmaker, DJ Medmessiah. The accompanying visual was styled in the label’s signature one-shot take in a cockpit, with both Miss A and Fateeha being the “main attraction.”
