Indonesian singer-songwriter is no longer performing at Head In The Clouds Los Angeles this weekend (August 20-21).
The cancellation was announced on Twitter earlier today (August 17) that she will not be performing this weekend after testing positive for COVID-19. 88rising shared NIKI’s announcement and added that NIKI “is resting and on her way to recovery!”
NIKI’s Head In The Clouds performance would’ve been the first time fans can anticipate hearing material from her sophomore album Nicole live following its Vietnamese-American artist Keshi will be performing instead after Joji’s debut set for his DJ project, YEBI LABS.
This is not the first cancellation at the festival. It was also previously announced last August 2 that Korean-American rap stars Tiger JK and Yoonmirae will not be performing at the music festival. Their label, Feel Ghood Music, has not indicated the reason for the cancellation. Indian-American singer Raveena and American dance crew KINJAZ joined the lineup on August 16.
