Yuridope is back with a new track titled “Preach.”

The Filipino rapper tells the story of those attempting to escape the clutches of poverty in his latest black-and-white visual shot against the backdrop of a crowded urban community in the Philippines.

The track includes hard-hitting lines about hunger and poverty experienced by many in the underprivileged areas of the Philippines, rapping, “Wala pang kain, tulad ng marami / Pero sumulat para may maibahagi sa iba / Baka sakali makapamulat, maparinig, mapawari / O makagulat, maka-atake ng ibang tengang kawali” ([We] don’t have food, just like many / But [I] write so that others know / Maybe it will open their eyes, they’ll listen, they’ll understand / Or they’ll be surprised, and talk to those who don’t listen).

In a Facebook post sharing the video, Yuridope announced a new untitled music video set to release next month. The Ex Battalion member also teased a new EP, although with no definitive title or release date as of press time.
