Yugyeom Teases Return In ’Take You Down’ Ft. Coogie Ahead Of Twin Single Release

Yugyeom is back!

The South Korean singer and member of GOT7 is set to return with a highly anticipated double release, “Take You Down,” featuring rapper and recent AOMG signee Coogie, and “불빛 (Lights).”

His label, AOMG, releases a teaser of the upcoming digital single, which drops tomorrow, March 31 at 6:00 PM KST, along with a grimy-looking music video that shows Yugyeom stumbling into a restroom of what looks like a bar.

“Take You Down” and “불빛 (Lights)” will be Yugyeom’s first singles of 2022, following his widely successful debut album, Point of View: U, which was included in HipHopDX Asia’s 20 Best Albums of 2021. We wrote of the album: “Point of View: U doesn’t necessarily defy rules but its willingness to make them work for Yugyeom, the K-pop idol, actually inadvertently allows us a chance to appreciate him just as Yugyeom.”
