Live music events are starting to take place again—cautiously, but surely—and we’ve got another major live event returning in 2022: South By Southwest (SXSW). AOMG artists Woo, Coogie, sogumm (also of Balming Tiger), DeVita, and DJ Wegun are slated to perform at the storied music showcase festival.
DeVita, Woo, sogumm, and DJ Wegun all have performed at last year’s online edition. Balming Tiger, including separate performances from members Leesuho, Omega Sapien, wnjn, Mudd the student; and Lil Cherry & GOLDBUUDA will be performing. South Korean electronic musician and singer-songwriter CIFIKA—who also collaborated with hip hop artists—will also represent South Korea.
After being canceled last year for the first time (the showcase festival has been taking place since 1987) due to the pandemic, it resumes in-person in its home city of Austin, Texas, from March 11 to March 20. As with previous editions, participating artists will be coming from different parts of the world: this time from North America, The U.K., The Congo, Spain, South Korea, Japan, Lebanon, Taiwan, and Trinidad and Tobago.
