According to Billboard’s news post, “Bazinga” jumped from number eight to number one on their December 11 weekly Hot Trending Songs chart. The Hot Trending Chart tracks the number of mentions on Twitter, with “Bazinga” garnering over 1.6 million mentions from November 26 to December 2.

This marks the group’s first time topping any chart, making them the first musical act to outrank K-pop superstars BTS’ six-week reign. “Bazinga” is followed by BTS’ “Butter” and “Permission to Dance,” Stray Kids’ “Christmas Eve,” Dimash Kudaibergen’s “Fly Away,” Mew Suppasit’s “Spaceman,” BE:FIRST’s “Gifted,” and Kai’s (of EXO) “Peaches.

“Bazinga” is a high-energy call out to the group’s haters, with dynamic choreography and stunning visuals to draw out the disruptive spirit of the track.

Earlier this year, the five-piece group was nominated for Best Southeast Asia Act at the 2021 MTV EMAs (Europe Music Awards) and was the first Filipino and Southeast Asian act nominated for Top Social Artist at the 2021 Billboard Music Awards.
