South Korean singer BIBI is heading for a steamy weekend.
The 23-year-old singer has teamed up with 88rising for the release of her latest music video, “The Weekend.” She’s also set to be featured on 88rising’s upcoming collaborative album Head In The Clouds 3, which has involved other K-pop artists like Chungha and GOT7’s Jackson Wang in its previous installment Head In The Clouds II.
The Feel Ghood Music signee also performed “The Weekend” during her debut performance at 88rising’s Head In The Clouds 2021 Festival in Pasadena, California last November 6 and 7.
The music video for the English-language pop-R&B cut premiered yesterday (December 6) and features the artist caught in a forbidden love affair, interspersed with stunning visuals and shots of the intricate set design. “You only call me on the weekend / You only love me when we freaking,” she croons to her lover in a dimly lit party.
Earlier this year, BIBI released her five-track EP Life Is A Bi…, along with multiple singles like “PADO” and “WHYY” featuring founder of Feel Ghood Music and Drunken Tiger member Tiger JK.
