Filipino rapper-DJ duo Dhictah and KMG locked in for the highly anticipated release of Walang Kompromiso (No Compromise), out now via UPRISING.

The sophomore release is their follow-up to 2018’s Lalim at Karimlan (Depth and Darkness), doubling down on their old-school hip hop lane but with a more relaxed, albeit still formidable deliver courtesy of Dhictah.

Compared to their first collaborative effort, the 15-track Walang Kompromiso is almost entirely a tag-team effort, with no emcee features this time, except for a scratch feature on three tracks by DJ Arthug.

Despite the more downbeat direction, Dhictah and KMG remain unsparing as a street poet and beat master, profoundly aware—and proud—of their hard-earned place in Pinoy hip hop: no frills, no flash. Most of the tracks on the first half revolve around greed and envy, two of the most rampant ills in local hip hop, and to a degree, a cultural commentary as well.
