VKL is making it clear he’s not kidding around with “555.” The Thai rapper released the single with an accompanying music video where he represented his Isan roots in a burgeoning hip hop scene.

On “555,” VKL shares how he is biding his time and taking the rap game seriously despite the naysayers. “Do you think I’m laughing?” he asks in the hook. The music video was directed by BLVCKCHOC and is the latest in his string of new releases this year, following “E” and “Aoii,” which both dropped earlier this month.

VKL rose to prominence in 2018 as a contestant on TheRapper, a reality rap competition show where his performance of “Like Father Like Son” earned widespread praise from judges and fans alike. He released his first album, VONG VISION, in 2019.
