Garcia first made her debut at 88rising’s “Double Happiness Winter Festival” online show in December 2020, where she performed an “angelic” rendition of her song, “Spilt Milk,” and a cover of Ariana Grande’s “Winter Things.”
PARADISE RISING was launched in July 2020 in partnership between 88rising and local telecommunications company, Globe. The platform aims to “establish a presence for Filipino artists in the West and globally through music distribution, music rights management, and artists development,” according to a press release.
The label debuted its semilucent EP on July 30, 2020, which features Filipino artists Kiana V, Massiah, Jason Dhakal, Leila Alcasid, and Fern.
