Summer stomped through and crushed the buildings, apparently lighting a match under Hip Hop that’s been raging for a few weeks now. Everyone’s getting in on the act. Sure, Meek v. Drizzy has been highly entertaining rap drivel, but there have been some really hard claps in a particular direction or another over the course of the year. It’s just that no one cared to notice how many were floating around. Wiz was dissing Amber and Kanye’s dissing Nike and Drake is throwing shots at Tyga, and more. So much more!

Here, we run through some of our favorite lines. Ten, to be exact. Got one we missed? Voice your opinion like a real American in the comment section.

Drake – “Back To Back”

Line: “You love her, then you gotta give the world to her / Is that a world tour or your girl’s tour?”

Only Drake could perfect the art of making a diss track that also serves as a club and radio banger. His recent headlining performance during OVO Fest proved just that.

Meek Mill – “Wanna Know”

Line: “We just want a refund, this ain’t what we paid for / Every time that we come, we get what we came for / Spitting another niggas shit, but you claim you king though?

The most disappointing response track this year featured great production from Jhalil Beats and Swizz Beats. Too bad there wasn’t anything Meek Mill could say in comparison to “Charged Up” and “Back To Back.”

Juicy J f/ Wiz Khalifa & R. City – “For Everybody”

Line: “Man, I fell in love with a stripper / Funny thing is I fell back out of love quicker / They don’t pay attention to love any way / They only pay attention to what the haters anyway / Bottles be turnin’ these hoes into thots / Instagram turnin’ these wifes into hoes”

The breakdown of Wiz Khalifa and Amber Rose’s relationship got even more intense following their divorce. Khalifa sent some hard shots through his Juicy J feature “For Everybody.”

Drake – “6 PM In New York”

Line: “I heard the lil lil homie talkin’ reckless in Vibe / It’s quite a platform you chose, you shoulda kept it inside / Oh you tried it / So childish / Callin’ my name on the world stage / You need to act your age and not your girl’s age.

Everyone has been tied up with Drake’s beef with Meek Mill but folks forget his first target of 2015. That’s right, Tyga.

Tyler The Creator f/ Kanye West & Lil Wayne – “Smuckers”

Line: “Why oh why, why, why don’t they like me? / ‘Cause Nike gave a lot of niggas checks but I’m the only nigga to ever check Nike.

Sure, he dissed Dr. Boyce Watkins, too, but his first line call out of conglomerate Nike earned Ye´a place on this list. The line says it all, and begins what is, most likely, Kanye´’s best verse of 2015 so far.

Cyhi Da Prynce – “Elephant In The Room”

Line: “Ain’t gonna be no new Yeezy album ’cause he in the trunk with his mouth taped and his wrist wrapped”

I don’t know why we haven’t all been waiting for something like this, but it’s arrived. Sometimes neglect is worse than acknowledgment, and Cyhi voiced his displeasure toward Kanye West in what is probably the best dream-sequence-track of the year.

J Prince – “Courtesy Call”

Line: “Puffy feeling like he can put his hands on my family/ Open the doors for his family to be touched/ You reap what you sow.”

In what’s probably the diss track of the year, J Prince showed out in a call to the likes of Puffy, Birdman, Wayne, Suge Knight and just about anyone else that would dare step to Drake. Let’s see if he does the same to Meek, or if he thinks his young T. Dot star handled it just fine on his own.

Lil Wayne – “CoCo Freestyle”

Line: Cash Money is a army/ I’m a one man army/ And if them niggas coming for me/ I’m going out like Tony

This ongoing saga reached a fever pitch on Wayne’s Free Weezy Album between he and Birdman with that line. He’s also sued him for fifty some odd million and voiced his displeasure publicly via the tweet that started it all.

A$AP Rocky – “Better Things”

Line: “I swear that bitch Rita Ora got a big mouth / Next time I see her might curse the bitch out/ Kicked the bitch out once cause she bitched out / Spit my kids out/ Jizzed up all in her mouth and made the bitch bounce

Petty and seemingly out of nowhere, A$AP Rocky aired out Rita Ora on “Better Things.” He soon apologized, but the damage was done. Rita never responded. That’s probably because the Brits aren’t hot heads.

Ghostface Killah f/ Harold Melville & The Blue Notes

Line: “Don’t let me hang you from a tree and gut you like a pig and hang you out to dry / Cause it can get done”

Action Bronson realized that Ghostface Killah is nothing to fuck with after making what some saw disrespectful comments on ESPN. Following the Tony Stark’s video, Bam Bam apologized with the quickness.
