According to a familiar cliché, a picture is worth a thousand words. Your favorite celebrities—including rappers—are doing less and less press, but luckily their thumbs and smartphones still work. Instagram has provided a way for them to document their lives and/or thoroughly embarrass themselves for our collective enjoyment. The beauty of it all is that you don’t even need to join Instagram, as most rappers are perfectly fine leaving their feeds open for public viewing. And if you’d rather avoid the IG life altogether, we’ve filtered through the top rapper’s pictures and videos and consolidated all the week’s events into one convenient feed.

This week, Jadakiss is a guest on ESPN’s “First Take” and 50 Cent continues to troll Floyd Mayweather when the boxer claimed that his opponent Marcos Maidana bit him.

Jadakiss On ESPN’s “First Take”

Jadakiss stopped by ESPN’s “First Take” this week and joined Skip Bayless and the crew to discuss a variety of sport-themed topics. On top of sports opinions, the rapper also provided the viewers with personal memories of The Notorious B.I.G. The hosts asked him to share what Biggie was like as a friend. They also asked him if there are any current rappers that compare to Biggie and he answered with, “maybe Jay Z.” Caption: “My GUYS! @espnfirsttake lol and big shout out to @carichampion.”

Nas Shares A Throwback Picture With His Father

While promoting his Time Is Illmatic film, Nas shared a picture with his father and Jazz musician Olu Dara. Nas and his father, both musically gifted, worked together on Illmatic as Dara played the trumped on the album track “Life’s a Bitch.” They’ve also worked together on other projects such as the score for the 1998 film Belly, which Nas co-wrote and starred in. Caption: “My dad is one of my biggest influences and even did his own thing on #Illmatic. He always thought I was gonna be a trumpet player but I ended up rhyming instead. #TimeisIllmatic.”

Chance The Rapper Is Apparently Not Afraid Of Heights

Standing at over 1400 feet, the Willis Tower (formerly the Sears Tower) is the tallest building in America. Chance The Rapper paid a visit to his hometown’s skyscraper and took a daring picture in the clear-walled skydeck. It’s clearly (no pun intended) not for the faint of heart or for those suffering of acrophobia. Caption: “Thanks Willis Tower staff! Out the window #skydeckledge #searstower”

Drake & His Gold Air Jordan IIIs

Here is my best attempt at sneaker knowledge with the help of Google search. Drake has a pair of gold Air Jordan IIIs that serve as an ode to his beloved hometown of Toronto. On the tongue, there is a “6 I X” detail that actually turns the shoes into a tribute. Ever since the announcement of his upcoming album title Views From The 6, “The 6” has replaced “T Dot” as Toronto’s latest nickname. No word on the release of these shoes or if he’s planning to keep it as a one-of-a-kind.

Throwback Thursday: A Young 2 Chainz

Because 2 Chainz turned 37 this month, it was only fitting to include his Throwback Thursday self-portrait in the list. Tauheed Epps, who now has dreads all the way down his back, once sported a shorter do along with a baby face and an oversized white tee. Let’s not forget that silver (or white gold) and gold studded cross emblem he’s sporting. Not sure if this was back in his Tity Boi days but even back then he was wearing two chains. 50 Cent: “Floyd Be Like He Bit Me”

Floyd Mayweather didn’t lose his welterweight and junior middle weight titles last weekend after defeating Marcos Maidana in a boxing match on Saturday (September 13). After the fight, Mayweather revealed that Maidana bit his hand during the match. According to ESPN, Mayweather said, “I didn’t know what it was. Something happened and then my fingers were numb. After the eighth round my fingers were numb. I could only use my other hand. He bit me. I realized he bit me.” Even though Maidana denies the munching, 50 Cent found the perfect opportunity to drop the viral “Charlie Bit Me!” video, which is fitting for this occasion. Waka Flocka Flame Needs A Blunt Roller

If your salary is less than $50K and your hobby is rolling blunts on your free time, you might want to reconsider what you do for fun and roll Waka Flocka’s blunts for a living. Earlier this week, Waka put an alert out that he was looking for a blunt roller and that he was willing to pay a maybe-negotiable salary of $50,000. Applicants were required to use the hashtag “#iCanRoll” to apply for the position. If this got you pumped up to quit your job, then I’m sorry to announce that the position has already been filled. Actor Seth Rogen, who applied for the position, is the lucky applicant, and if he doesn’t fulfill the correct duties, then Waka’s manager Brick Bronson said, “I’ll fire him and hire James Franco.” #bound.”

Big Boi Shares OutKast & UGK Throwback

Throwback Thursday is always a favorite for the artist who’s lived through some good moments in Hip Hop. Big Boi’s been in the game for over 20 years and because of that, he shares some pretty post-worthy throwback pictures. In his latest #tbt, the one-half of OutKast shared a picture of him, Andre 3000, Bun B and (R.I.P.) Pimp C. Recently, Bun B joined OutKast on stage to perform “International Player’s Anthem (I Choose You)” at Drake’s OVO Fest 2014. Watch the performance here. Caption: “#TBT @outkast x #UGK.”
