According to a familiar cliché, a picture is worth a thousand words. Your favorite celebrities—including rappers—are doing less and less press, but luckily their thumbs and smartphones still work. Instagram has provided a way for them to document their lives and/or thoroughly embarrass themselves for our collective enjoyment. The beauty of it all is that you don’t even need to join Instagram, as most rappers are perfectly fine leaving their feeds open for public viewing. And if you’d rather avoid the IG life altogether, we’ve filtered through the top rapper’s pictures and videos and consolidated all the week’s events into one convenient feed.

This week, Outkast links up with Busta Rhymes and Too $hort for a Coachella flick, Kanye West announces his new shoe line release date and Eminem and Spike Lee pose on the set of Em’s new video. Check the rest of the week’s top Instagram posts below.

Eminem & Spike Lee In Detroit For New Video

Eminem and director Spike Lee posed for a picture posted on Em’s account, with the caption, “Spike came out to The D for the “Headlights” video… Coming soon.” What we know is that Eminem has a new video coming out for “Headlights.” What we don’t know is the role that Spike Lee will be taking for the visual. Most likely, he’ll be directing the video for The Marshall Mathers LP 2 single coming out soon.

Kanye West Announces New Yeezys Coming In June

During an appearance at the Adidas global brand conference in Germany earlier this week, Kanye West made a huge announcement about his expensive high-end sneakers. “In June, we’ll see the new Yeezys,” Kanye said in an Instagram video post caught by user iamdaysh. New reports recently claim that the new shoes will likely be looking at a Spring 2015 release instead of June 2014 but the notion was fun while it lasted.
