According to a familiar cliché, a picture is worth a thousand words. Your favorite celebrities—including rappers—are doing less and less press, but luckily their thumbs and smartphones still work. Instagram has provided a way for them to document their lives and/or thoroughly embarrass themselves for our collective enjoyment. The beauty of it all is that you don’t even need to join Instagram, as most rappers are perfectly fine leaving their feeds open for public viewing. And if you’d rather avoid the IG life altogether, we’ve filtered through the top rapper’s pictures and videos and consolidated all the week’s events into one convenient feed.

This week, Game gets arrested and uses his time to take a picture, Snoop, Pharell and Stevie Wonder hit the studio and Benzino poses for a selfie in his hospital bed. Check the rest of the week’s top Instagram posts below.

TheMy Krazy Life rapper’s picture must be over 10 years old so it safely qualifies as a Throwback Thursday.

Hey, I’m in handcuffs and about to go for a ride, but first… let me take a selfie. The picture isn’t an actual selfie by definition (only because his hands were occupied) but some ride-or-die friend snapped a shot of Game in cuffs. The caption read, “Me & @moneygangworldwide might be headed downtown to the twin towers… Only thing bout going to jail as a rich nigga is that… We bail out before we take mugshots #FuckThePolice #BloodMoney #LaFamilia” The picture was posted on Instagram the same day that news broke, reporting that Game is a suspect in a felony domestic violence investigation. It’s unclear if the picture has any ties but what an interesting coincidence.

Hot 97’s annual summer concert line up has been revealed and it’s looking like a nice variety on that stage. Back in 2012, Lil Wayne cancelled Nicki Minaj’s headlining set at Summer Jam because Peter Rosenberg dissed her then-single “Starships.” Hope nothing too dramatic happens at Summer Jam this go around.
