All it takes is one viral picture infiltrating into pop culture. For heaven’s sake, part of the Drake vs. Meek Mill battle was won through memes. Every week, the crafty imaginations of social media manage to create something displaying wit, wisdom, crass ideas and more. Some will make you laugh, feel disgusted and probably confused. This week, Joe Budden and Arthur probably created some of the most entertaining memes this year. Meanwhile, Bow Wow a.k.a. Chad Moss caught fire from social media after he said he mentioned not voting because of his mixed heritage. Yup, doesn’t make any sense at all. With that said, here are the best reactions.
Some black people think by denying their blackness they can somehow sidestep white supremacy. The house slave always thought and tried to convince master they were different than the field slave; however, you both were forced into servitude on the plantation.

He’s not black. He’s brown. “Black” people wanna put every non-white person in the same category, but it’s not that simple. You’ve let the world convince you that if you’re not “white”, youre “black”. Stop being lazy, study your heritage. I know you’re terrified to see that your ancestors might not all look exactly like you, but it might give you some perspective. If he spoke Spanish instead of English, you’d look at him as “Spanish”. So are you English then? The African-American living in the U.S. Is the most confused human being on Earth, and it’s because they don’t want to know anything. They just want to accept everything in the simplest way possible, so they don’t have to reevaluate themselves. Black people in America look at Africans like it’s their distant cousin that they’re ashamed of. But then when Bow Wow says he’s not just “black” everyone gets mad. What the f?
A lot of mixed peeps throw in “I’m part black” in their description almost bc it’s dope to be, the culture, music etc but will emphasize on their other race for the appeal. Blame the media. Nobody’s going to claim all sides, just the sides that put them in a safe appealing zone when the situation presents itself. I could be wrong.
If your not black then shut the hell up if your living in the good U.S. OF A you are standing and living in a country that my people toil this land for centuries… only non blacks feel soooo privileged in debating about our race and how we feel. Black Racism at its finest. Its like they dont even care that they are showing their racists face, its natural to them. No shame whatsoever. When they dont hate white people, they hate their own for identifying themselves as “non-black”. “BLACK” is not a nationality, not a race, not a culture, not an ethnicity, its nothing. African-American people are so lost in that they dont even like calling themselves AFRICAN, which they actually are.
