DJ Jazzy Jeff and the Fresh Prince were a groundbreaking duo who are the first Hip Hop act to win a Grammy. With hits like “Girls Ain’t Nothing But Trouble,” “Parents Just Don’t Understand” and the classic “Summertime,” they put the Philly Hip Hop scene on the map. After taking a break from music, in 1990 Will became the first rapper to have his own television series, The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air, which ran for six seasons until 1996. Seventeen of his films, in which he had a leading role, grossed over $100 million each, with five taking in over $500 million each at the box office. Over the course of his remarkable career, Will Smith has been nominated for five Golden Globe Awards, two Academy Awards, and has won four Grammy Awards.
