BIO

Takeoff began his career as a professional producer in 2011. He and Quavo, his uncle, and Offset, his uncle, began rhyming together as a collective under the stage name Polo Club, which was later changed to Migos. The trio released a mixtape titled Juug Season in the summer of 2011 and followed that up with the No Label mixtape the following summer in 2012. Their first hot single was titled “Versace,” which was remixed by Drake. The remix peaked at number 99 on the Billboard Hot 100 and at 31 on the Hot R&B/Hip-Hop Songs chart. Their debut studio album was titled Yung Rich Nation and was released in July 2015. The album would peak at 17 on the Billboard 200 charts and produced the seminal classic “Bad and Boujee,” which featured LIl Uzi Vert. That song has gone four-times platinum to date. Migos’ second release is titled Culture and debuted at number 1 on the Billboard 200 and was certified platinum. Culture II, their third album, was released in 2018. It too debuted at number on the Billboard 200. Takeoff would release a solo album called The Last Rocket in November 2018. The first single from the set was titled “Last Memory.” The Migos released Culture III in 2021. This would be the last album released within Takeoff’s lifespan. Quavo and Takeoff released a collaborative album together in October 2022, Unc and Phew. Sadly, Takeoff was shot and killed at a Houston-area bowling alley less than a month later.

PROPS

Takeoff appeared on two Migos albums that debuted at number 1 on the BIllboard charts. Takeoff released his solo album The Last Rocket on October 23, 2018.
