Bursting on the scene as a member of Boyz n da Hood, the ATL MC took the rap game by storm with his signature voice and compelling tales about his experiences on the streets. Jeezy was instrumental in bringing trap music from the ATL to the world as one of the most highly-regarded rappers to emerge in the early aughts. After making waves on the local scene as the “Snowman” he signed to Def Jam Recordings in 2004. His major-label debut, Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101, was released the following year and peaked at No. 2 on the Billboard 200 selling 172,000 copies in its first week and went on the go platinum. Jeezy has released ten studio albums and earned many top ten hits, cementing his status as a legend and an O.G. in Hip Hop.
