Hollis, Queens, NY native rap star Ja Rule had the early 2000’s locked down thanks to his  timeless singles and collaborations. He was the vanguard artist for Chris and Irv Gotti’s Murder Inc. record label. His debut album Venni Vetti Vecci was released in 1999 with the lead single “Holla Holla.” At the very start of the millennium Ja Rule gave the culture hits like “Between Me and You” ft. Christina Milian, and “Put It On Me” ft. Vita and Lil Mo. Ja Rule has also appeared in films such as Crime Partners, Scary Movie 3 and The Fast and The Furious.
